Shauna and Rebecca close out CBC's Canada Reads 2020 with their perspective of the competition. Was it really female vs. male? Was there a secret alliance? Could we all have behaved better? Join them for a no-holds-barred chat.
In the second half of the podcast, Shauna and Rebecca introduce their project to close out 2020 with "Giggles & Kisses"! They plan to read two romances (Rebecca says, "ugh!" and Shauna is excited to get the chance to critically review her genre) and two humorous books (three of the four titles are identified). They hope you will read along and join them for a monthly review from September through December.
Update and correction: the series has been renamed "Love & Laughter" and Ayesha at Last's main character is Ayesha Shamsi but was written by Uzma Jalaluddin.
