Shauna and Rebecca take an interview break from authors and Canada Reads defenders to chat with publisher Bruce Walsh, formerly of the University of Regina Press. In June 2020, Bruce will begin his new role as publisher of House of Anansi Press, which was "founded in 1967 with a mandate to publish Canadian writers." https://houseofanansi.com/ A few of their current titles include: Seven Fallen Feathers: Racism, Death, and Hard Truths in a Northern City by Tanya Talaga (CBC's Canada Reads 2018 longlist); Small Game Hunting at the Local Coward Gun Club by Megan Gail Coles (CBC's Canada Reads 2020 selection); and The Break by Katherena Vermette (CBC's Canada Reads 2017 selection).

Really enjoyed this interview. What an animated publisher & chatterbox Bruce Walsh is! I just finished reading Seven Fallen Feathers and the cover is beautiful. I am examining the back cover more closely after hearing him say how important it is
